Our Executive Board Members
Thane & Cynthia Murphy
Cynthia Cherise Murphy is an accomplished leader in Business Development and Marketing with advanced degrees in Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Public Health. She is currently completing her PhD in Business Administration.
Thane Stewart Murphy is a retired USMC disabled veteran and Summa Cum Laude graduate in Nutrition.
Cynthia and Thane are the originating founders of Assuaged Foundation, where Thane serves as President and Cynthia as Vice President, overseeing the organization’s impactful internship program.
She and Thane are proud parents to their 14-month-old daughter, Novalee Rose, who inspires their ongoing commitment to social good and innovation.
Craig & Jennifer Dumnich
Craig Dumnich, our Treasurer, holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management with a minor in Accounting, providing vital financial oversight and supporting the foundation’s growth.
Jennifer-Markle Dumnich, our Secretary, holds an MBA in Finance and ensures smooth operations with her expertise in financial planning and organizational leadership.
Beyond their board roles, Craig and Jennifer actively mentor in fitness, mindset, and corporate wellness, contributing to Assuaged’s mission of holistic empowerment and community impact.
Crystal Rylowicz
Crystal Rylowicz, our accomplished Executive Director of Practicums, holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and brings extensive experience in education and public health.
Her career reflects a deep commitment to improving health outcomes, fostering student success, and ensuring quality assurance across all programs.
Crystal has served as a dedicated student leader, mentoring future professionals and driving impactful initiatives that align with Assuaged’s mission to empower underserved communities.
Jaime Persaud-Thomas
Jaime, our Senior Board Advisor and Student Preceptor, holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) with over 19 years of professional experience.
Her career is defined by a steadfast dedication to advancing public health initiatives, streamlining administrative coordination, and delivering accurate, evidence-based content.
Jaime’s expertise and mentorship are instrumental in guiding students and supporting Assuaged’s mission to create a healthier, more informed community.
